Jezebel's - LoHi

I'm a GA transplant (10 years) and damn, I miss some southern food. Big time. We were freaking pumped when Jezebel's opened in LoHi. They carry all my faves including fried chicken, shrimp and grits and candied yams. Yea, baby! They even introduced us to the new and improved world of moonshine sans hipster bartender (score!). We had great luck with an amazing meal when they opened a few years ago but ever since I have been so disappointed. So disappointed. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is amazing but their kitchen is butchering this badass menu. Dry food. Sloooooow food. Improperly seasoned food. Triple dammit. I'm pretty sure they'd be put in the slammer down south for what their kitchen has been putting out and calling cornbread. I have hopes for their future but presently, this place is looking bleak. We'll pass for now.
