Café Mercato - Lowry

UPDATE: 8/12/15 After visiting Locanda Del Borgo (shared owners) and loving every minute of it, we decided to give Cafe Mercato one last shot. WHAT THE HELL. That is seriously all we know to say about this restaurant. We were seated right next to the employee 'landing spot' where staff and what I am embarrassed to even call their manager hang out. We hadn't even put in a drink order when we overheard the manager call the hostess 'Toots" then cringed our asses off for the next painful 5+ minutes as he explained that he had in fact called her "Toots" not Tits". This was immediately followed by another awesomely offensive convo between said manager and hostess with a server about how 'Everyone hates people from Jersey". Not to mention seeing a chef standing at the pizza oven repeatedly touching his cell phone before and after touching food and plating (including pasta which I'd ordered and was eating, Nooooo!). WHAT THE HELL. No bread was brought to the table and no appetizers on the menu...again, wth?? The food was barely passable and there are NO WORDS to describe the ridiculous behavior from their staff. Never. Again.

****Our previous review has been removed. I can't possibly leave up an opinion made prior to tonight's experience about a place that conducts itself this way in 2015.
