Four Friends Kitchen - Stapleton

This is one sweet, southern spot. We'll try any restaurant that has fried green tomatoes on their menu and this one is a hit. The Pepper Jelly Grilled Brussels were an amazing twist on the same old sprouts and the Cheese & Chorizo Beignets were perfectly fried. Choosing entrees was almost torturous because everything sounded so delicious. The Peanut Crusted Southern Fried Chicken Waffle Sandwich and the Down South Trio (Green Chili Mac & Chz, collard greens & Peanut Crusted Chicken Tenders) didn't disappoint. Everything was seasoned to perfection. All that awesomeness combined with their super quick service makes this a perfect breakfast, brunch or lunch destination. Be still my GA heart.

Solitaire - W 32nd/Highlands

This new restaurant is charming as hell and the food was absolutely delicious. This is the place to be this spring and summer. Their outdoor seating is just lovely with endless options (shaded, sunny, upstairs, downstairs, out back, on the side - awesome!). Their rotating beer list is going to get us back in sooner than later for some outdoor dining. The Misticanza & Antipasti Board were perfection only to then be out done by the CO Lamb T-Bone and Acadia Redfish. Husband swooned for their extensive Gin & Tonic list while I fell for the Hot Piece of Ass cocktail (not kidding). We left with a gift card (gotta gift a dinner here to someone we love STAT, it's that good) and plans to return for dinner soon not to mention full resolution that this will be our next dinner party spot. No question.

Cho77 - S Broadway

This spot was opened by the same amazing chef that owns one of our faves, ChoLon (LoDo). We were lucky enough to receive an invitation to a private tasting a week after they opened their doors and I am so glad we did. It gave us the chance to try many of the items on the menu and damn they were delicious. So damn delicious that we decided to stay for dinner afterwards. From the Scallop Ceviche to the Vegetable Samosas and a Tropical Fruit Plate with sriracha dipping salt we were in Asian street food heaven. I adored the Roti Pizza, husband ate every bite of the Wonton noodles & Pork Belly and neither one of us could get enough of the Hanoi Night Train cocktail. The decor with its many authentic and thoughtful touches will charm your socks off. This restaurant is not to be missed. Hurry up, your Buffalo Chicken Buns are waiting.
